How to adopt

Requirements to adopt a cat:

• Being an adult
• Present your ID
• Sign the adoption contract
• Payment of adoption package to the veterinary

All cats are given with an adoption contract that establishes the commitment not to mistreat, sell or abandon the cat.

Adoption prices:

The fee must be paid to the vet. The association does not charge anything.

• 115€ in the case of a female cat ♀ (dewormed and vaccinated, with the regulatory microchip and sterilized within the indicated period).
• 70€ in the case of a male cat ♂ (dewormed and vaccinated, with the regulatory microchip and sterilized within the indicated period).
• ~55€ in the case of an adult cat/cat already sterilized (dewormed and vaccinated, with the regulatory microchip).
• The association will cover all cost in case you adopt a cat with a chronic illness

Steps to adopt a cat:

1. First contact where a visit is arranged to come to the shelter to meet the cats and their characteristics are explained.
2. After you have decided which cat you want, we set a date to meet you at the vet, we will bring the cat there.
3. After the vet has done an examination and taken care of the vaccination and microchip, you will sign the adoption contract.
4. You will pay the vet and take your cat home (please remember to bring a cat carrier).
5. We will keep in touch to find out how the adaptation is going, if there is any issue arrising we will help you solve it.
