Associació Gats de Vilafranca - Who are we?
The AGVP is formed by a group of people committed to the care and defense of street cats that live in different colonies in Vilafranca del Penedès.
We are a group of volunteers who operate from the deepest love for cats
Dolors Climent, the president of the association, has been carrying out this task for more than 20 years and dedicates her time, effort and love to stray animals unconditionally.
With her we have gathered a group of collaborators and volunteers with the same concerns for animal welfare and specifically, felines.
Together we want to improve the living conditions of the street cats in the city of Vilafranca del Penedès and the cat shelter "El Bosquet".
Our task is the care and alimentation of the cats, the control of the colonies through sterilisations and the promotion of the adoptions of these beautiful beings.
We have an open-air fenced shelter and 17 cat colonies in the municipality of Vilafranca of Penedès, Catalonia.
